My kid is growing with it along with his sense of balance. This helps him out because when he’s on his bike with training wheels, he’s still leaning to one side and vice versa so as he gains his balance, just like my first son learned on one of these, I had gotten a long time ago and he learned quick so now my younger son should gain his sense of balance shortly with this trailer bike

We have had so many issues with this bike trailer. 1st it came with a broken tube so we had to wait for the company to send us another. Then once we were finally able to ride the chain is too big and repeatedly falls off. I'm going to have to shorten the chain and am just beyond frustrated with how much time I've had to invest in getting the bike to the condition it should have been in when I bought it. The trailer also tilts off to the side while you ride even before taking a turn.

This is a third of the price of the Burley version, and Burley requires the eyelets for a rack which I don't have, so this is the only viable option. The price is very reasonable for what you're getting. We have a 6yo who can fit onto a 20" wheel, so this seemed like a better choice than the 16", plus it's aluminum so supposedly lighter (I didn't have a steel one to compare). The quality of this trailer isn't great. For example: - Pedal bearings are extremely rough and not serviceable - BB bearings are extremely rough and overtightened - Chain was overtightened to the extent you couldn't turn the pedals - Quick releases look poorly designed and likely to fail (see reviews for examples) - there isn't even a washer - Weld brazes are very poor with gaps - Wheel was massively overtightened and left stamps in the frame from the bolt You also have the issue that if you turn, it has a habit of turning the bushing on the rider's seat post so the trailer is then tilted to one side. Oh and the manual says you can travel 5mph maximum (I get that you shouldn't be racing downhill at 30mph, but 5mph is a brisk walk...) So you get what you pay for, and I'm not unhappy, but I'm frustrated because with a few design improvements and some care taken during assembly, this could be a solid 5 stars! I would recommend that if you're not familiar with some bike maintenance, you take it to your LBS for tuning and fitting before use.
